Prof Katy Shaw Chairs British Academy Social and Cultural Infrastructure in the Creative & Cultural Industries Roundtable

Prof Katy Shaw, Director of the AHRC Creative Communities programme, chaired a cross-sector roundtable event with colleagues at the British Academy to consider the role of the creative and cultural industries (CCI) in creating, supporting and enhancing social and cultural infrastructure to improve and sustain their local communities and places.

This event is part of the British Academy’s Social and Cultural Infrastructure programme and was organised by Policy Adviser Harriet Thompson. Findings from this research activity will form a short synthesis report from the British Academy on Social and Cultural Infrastructure in the Creative and Cultural Industries.
