In this innovative new project, five Community Innovation Practitioners (CIPs) will be embedded in collaborative cross-sector research from September 2023 to September 2024.
Working in all four nations of the UK, the CIPs will collaborate with cross-sector partners to capture knowledge about co-creation and partnerships in community-based R&D. Together they will form the CIP Network – a Community of Practice dedicated to sharing learning on collaborative R&D.
Creative Communities will support the CIPs through mentorship, training activities, workshops, and events. Each CIP will produce a case study on their project, offering insight into the partnerships, processes and policies that shape and are shaped by the local communities they are working with. They will also work with a podcast producer to create a podcast capturing the voices of the people involved in their co-created R&D. Both the podcast series and the case studies will be available in Autumn 2024.
