The East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) is a Mayoral Strategic Authority.
The EMCCA was established in February 2024. The current mayor is Claire Ward, who was elected for a four-year term in 2024. She works with the leaders of the four constituent councils and two non-constituent councils on devolved decision-making and funding.
