The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (YNYCA) is a Mayoral Strategic Authority.
YNYCA was established in 2024. The inaugural mayor, David Skaith, was elected in May 2024 for a four-year term. He works with the leaders of the four constituent councils on devolved decision-making and funding.
