The West of England Mayoral Strategic Authority (WECA) is a Mayoral Strategic Authority.
WECA was established in 2017. Elections for the West of England Mayor have been held every four years since 2017.
The current mayor, Helen Godwin, was elected for a four-year term in May 2025. She works with the leaders of the three Local Authority councils on devolved decision-making and funding.
