Professor Katy Shaw, Director of AHRC Creative Communities was invited to speak to CHEAD members about the programme learnings to date and phase two activities at a RIKE Alliance event in October.
The Council for Higher Education in Art & Design (CHEAD) provides a voice for and on behalf of higher education art and design in the UK four nations advancing knowledge and understanding in the sector and promoting the sector’s interests to others.
Their RIKE Alliance is a collaborative, entrepreneurial partner in the UK’s creative and cultural economy – demonstrating how research creates impact by shaping practice, activating innovation and informing policy. The Alliance aspires to influence policy through research, practice and advocacy, keeping curiosity and exemplary arts processes at its core.
