Director of AHRC / UKRI Creative Communities Prof Katy Shaw was invited to join the Great North Investment Summit in Leeds, ahead of UKREiiF 2026.
Prof Katy Shaw joined this event to share learning from the AHRC Creative Communities programme’s four nation R&D – exploring how culture and community co-creation can drive growth, shape place, and focus on real-world delivery and evidence across the UK.
The Great North Investment Summit is the first ever forum dedicated to promoting the North of England collectively, aiming to demonstrate regional investment potential on a global stage. The summit was organised by The Great North partnership, founded by northern mayors to create prosperity and opportunity, and led by the Department for Business and Trade and the Office for Investment.
